How do I title audio stems or variations?

When titling audio stems or variations/versions, please ensure one of the following rules are used after the main title to differentiate them from the full track version:

  • Parenthesis ( ) or brackets [ ] with the variation inside

    • *Important note here: parenthesis and bracket keys can vary on different international keyboards and therefore could cause the title not to flag as a stem or different version.

  • Numbers followed by the exact characters ’bpm' (e.g. 120bpm)

  • Seconds time codes (e.g. 15s, 30s, or 60s)

  • Standalone whole number (e.g. 100)

  • Any single letter

  • Any word from this list: alt, alternative, bpm, edit, full, inst, instrumental, lite, loop, mix, rmx, sec, seconds, short, stinger, transition, underscore, version
